Our dear sweet Erin is one today! I can hardly believe it, where has the time gone? I know it sounds cliche, but it really does seem that I just brought her home. And now she is walking with confidence, adding new teeth (she's up to three "good" ones and two more have broken through), and learning new things with ease. She never ceases to amaze me with her happiness, charm, and smarts. My heart is always warmed to watch her, and to watch Kyle with her. What friends they are!
Unfortunately she is ending her first year in a little bit of rough shape. She's got a virus that had her at the doctor's twice this week. Yesterday her fever was 103 and she was absolutely miserable. As with any virus, we just have to let it run its course. It also means her birthday party had to be rescheduled. I did get a height and weight this week, and at 28-3/4 inches she is 30th percentile for height. Her weight was 19.5 pounds, putting her at the 25th percentile.
Happy, happy birthday Erin!!! You'll always be our baby girl no matter how much you grow up! Here's a look back at Erin's first year.
