Memorial Day Weekend

We had a fantastic Memorial Day weekend! We started it at The Friendly in Coloma for dinner Friday night, then we hit the car show at Lane Automotive. It pays to know some Corvette owners, because Kyle was thrilled to sit in one!
Saturday morning began with breakfast, then we went downtown to feed the ducks. What we got were geese, and a cute family of them!Saturday we also went to Hannah Seiler's graduation party. She babysits the kids, and we will miss her come fall. (Although thrilled that she is going to be a Spartan!)Saturday afternoon we headed to Taylor's for a cookout. The kids (and Mike and I) had a great time. I love that in this picture only Erin is smiling, and she's holding her trusty hot dog bun.Sunday morning began lazy. ;-)We made cupcakes to take to the cook-out at Beth and Troy's, but poor Brett was sick and it got cancelled. Didn't stop Kyle and Erin from eating leftover frosting!Instead we headed to our friends the Luciuses. They have new kittens (along with the rest of their farm animals!) and they were a huge hit with the kids.Kyle's cast is waterproof, but I decided to tape a bread bag on Kyle's arm anyway. Yeah... he could have kept a goldfish in the bottom of that bag!We watched the Memorial Day parade on Monday morning. Luckily is was an early one, since a couple hours later the rain hit and didn't stop the rest of the day.A great weekend all in all!!
