So, a blog? I’ve toyed with the idea of a blog in the past, and the main thing pushing me now is that we’re growing beyond the site set up for Kyle. Rather than fooling myself into thinking I can manage to keep Kyle’s site up-to-date (which, sadly, isn’t really happening now as it is!), and one for the new baby, I’m moving on to more of a family site.
Moving this thought process from a vague idea to reality began when we got to “meet” the baby on the way. Seeing the 3D ultrasound pictures, and viewing video in 4D, really made everything so much more real. Yeah, I knew we were having a baby in May. Yeah, said baby makes its presence known constantly. But it seemed so far off still. Then the pictures, shown below, show a baby who looks ready to go. Ready to make an entrance and take on the world. Yep. Time to get moving.

So a new era in record-keeping begins. My hope is that this blog will not just be a record of events, per se, but include the emotions and feelings that accompany those events. I hope it will be both heartwarming and humorous.
